OK so I was called by my mechanic who had my bike in under a warranty repair, it was running fine before as far as starting and never had an issue. Now he says its not getting complete voltage (12 v) to fuel pump. Turns over just fine and when he jumps out the fuel pump it will start and run.

I would give it a little gas and it would start back up most times. But some times I would have to let it sit for a few minutes and then it would start.2016 RZR S 900 cranks but wont start. Bike rides fine on throttle open but dies as soon as it returns to idle throttle position. Open the throttle slightly while cranking, and see if it fires up. A long spray with WD40 through the straw might clean it up enough to get you going. There are pics on here showing where to find the linkage in question.Could be oil pressure,fuel,spark,throttle body gunked up,bad compression etc. Could be a number of things. Best way to tackle issues like thar is start with compression check,fuel pressure check,and oil pressure check. Then go from there. Without zeroing out those 3 basic functions its just guessing.
